Yes. If your event is free to attend, then our service is free to use.

No. The participants do not have to register with Eventzi. The guests you invite will be sent an email invite which will link back to your event page.

You can delete your account via My "Account" on the navigation bar

If you are the event host, you can always delete the event page. All you need to do is go to "Dashboard" and click on the option "Cancel". PLEASE NOTE: All data related to your event will be permanently deleted.

The event host and the participants will always have access to the event. As long as the event is not deleted by the host themself it remains accessible.

Eventzi uses PayPal to process the attendees ticket payments. We use PayPal because PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the buyer. Once your sale is complete, you will be emailed notification of the sale.

We need your email address that you use with your PayPal account in order to transfer the ticket revenues.

Yes. When you create an event, Step 2 called "Add Tickets, Payment Type & Discounts" has discount options for that ticket type.

It is not possible to cancel tickets yet.

The ticket revenues go into your PayPal account, minus the payment processing fees charged by PayPal.

After your event, the fees to be paid can be seen from "My Account" under the "Invoices" tab. From here you can easily transfer the fee to us.

In case you forget to pay the Eventzi fee, we will send an email after 1 day to let you know, fees are still to be paid.

Yes. If you have not sold any tickets yet, you have the option of changing a ticket category. If tickets have already been sold, you have the option of changing the number of tickets available.

Eventzi sends e-tickets. Each ticket has a unique number. The number and the corresponding name of the ticket purchaser can be downloaded on our web site, allowing ticket numbers to be checked easily.

No. Only the Event Hoolder can refund purchases.

Eventzi uses PayPal to process the purchasing of tickets. We use PayPal because PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the Event Holder. Once your purchase is complete, you will be emailed a reciept of the purchase.

No. You can just go to the event page, pay for your ticket and enjoy the event when it comes around!

No. Invoices are saved in your account. They can be viewed by selecting My Account, then Invoices. You will be sent an email reminder 1 day after your event.

Attendees visit your event web page to view the details of your event and to purchase tickets.

After clicking Buy Now, your attendees will enter their information on the next page.

The attendee will then click on the payment method preferred and be taken to a checkout page associated with that payment method.

After completing the payment, the attendee will receive an order confirmation email from Eventzi as well as an order confirmation email from the payment processor, PayPal.

No. You may also use your own e-mail program to send the link to your event, or you can put it on another web site. However, if you send your invitation e-mails with Eventzi, it is much more convenient for the participants, since their e-mail addresses do not have to be verified again.

There might be various reasons:

• The invitation e-mail of Eventzi might have been sent to the participant's spam e-mail folder.
• The e-mail address of a participant might be incorrect or does not exist.
• It happens rarely, but it may be possible that our server did not send the invitation e-mail at all. If you can exclude the first two reasons, please send the invitation e-mail again.

No. You may invite additional guests at any time. Just click on the link "Dashboard" then " Invite Guests". From there you can add more guests to invite.

Note: In order to add video to the Event Web Page, you need to upload a video file to a video hosting site like YouTube and get the embed URL for that video.

1.Save a video file to your computer. Choose a video hosting site (e.g. www.youtube.com) and upload your video to the site. After successfully uploading a video, you'll be given embed URL that corresponds with your video.

2.On Eventzi, select “Edit Event” from the “Dashboard” and then click on the “Event Web Page” bar.

3.Click on the video icon in the HTML tool bar.

4.In the space provided, paste the embed URL you obtained from the video hosting site. Select insert.

5.Your video will appear in the Event Web Page box.

6.Select the “SAVE” button to save the video to your Event Web Page.

1.Select the Create Event button.

2.On the Event Creation page, go through each step and enter your event details. You can preview the page at any time by selecting the Preview button in the bottom right hand corner.

Event Name & Logo - enter the name of your event and upload a logo or banner for your event page.

Add Tickets, Payment Type & Discounts - enter ticket types, your PayPal email ID and add discounts for your event.

Event Location - indicate when and where your event will take place. Here, you can also indicate if this event will repeat over time (daily, weekly, monthly).

Guest List - add contacts using the options to invite guests to your event.

RSVP Options - include reminder and thank you emails.

Event Web Page - insert details, photo's, video's and links to your event web page.

3.Select the Review & Publish button and you can review your event before publishing it. When you click Publish your event web page will be live!

Tip: Use the Repeat Event feature to automatically create an identical draft event to your “Dashboard”.

1.In the “Event Location” section of the “Edit Event” page, check the box titled - Yes this is a repeat event.

2.Choose from a repeating pattern of Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

Eventzi Fees

Eventzi charges a $0.20 USD fee per ticket.

You collect the ticket payment from your attendees and the fees are added can be seen under "My Account" under the and "Invoices" tab after the event has finished.

You can also view the invoices paid, outstanding invoices, and current fees collected by going to “My Account” then selecting “Invoices”.

Tip: When using PayPal, attendees who register for your event have two options for online payment: Using their PayPal account or paying by credit card without logging in to a PayPal account.

1. The attendee selects their desired tickets and clicks on the BUY TICKETS button.

2. On the PayPal checkout page (hosted by PayPal), the attendee has two choices:

1 - If your attendee decides to pay with his/her PayPal account, they simply enter their PayPal account email address and password to continue.
2 - If your attendee decides to pay with credit card, they will select the link next to Don't Have a PayPal Account?

1. Visit the event web page, select tickets and click BUY TICKETS.

2. Click on the link below Dont Have a PayPal Account?

3. On the next screen, fill in your credit card details and select Review Order & Continue.

You'll confirm your purchase amount on the next screen.

On PayPal's Homepage:

If you do not already have a Business or Premier PayPal account, sign up for PayPal now or upgrade your Personal PayPal account.

On the Eventzi “Create Event” page:

1. On the Event Creation page, locate Step 2 "Add Tickets, Payment Type & Discounts" 

2. You will see a section called Payment Options at the bottom of the box. Enter your PayPal account email address in the space provided. Make sure you enter the email address correctly as this is how you'll receive money from attendees.

3. Select SAVE at the bottom of the page.

You are now set up to receive credit card and PayPal payments!

TIP: Attendees who buy tickets for a paid event are NOT required to have a PayPal account. They can pay using their credit card, much like a normal merchant processing experience.

You, the event holder, must use the PayPal optional setting in your PayPal account to allow customers to pay by credit card without logging into a PayPal account.

Here's how to turn this setting on within your PayPal account:

1. Log in to your PayPal Account and select My Account then the Profile tab.

2. Under Selling Preferences select the Website Payment Preferences link.

3. Scroll down the page to the section titled PayPal Account Optional and select On.

When registering, your attendees will be given the choice of signing in to their PayPal account or paying directly by Credit Card.

TIP: The attendee report is a list of each attendee who has registered for your event. You can view and export the attendee report to use as a guest list for your event check-in process.

Go to your Dashboard then:

1. Next to the Event Name of your event, select Attendees from the options on the right hand side.

2. Export the attendee report to Excel or a Text file.

TIP: The event analysis is an easy way to monitor your event sales, ticket types, recent attendees, and recent orders - all on one page.

Go to your Dashboard then:

1. Next to the Event Name of your event, select Event Analysis from the options on the right hand side.

2. Monitor the revenues, ticket sales, and email invitation conversion for your event.

Tip: Use the discount code feature to create, distribute, and manage discounts for your event.

1. From the Dashboard, click on the Edit Event option for your event. Then select Add Tickets, Payment Type & Discounts.

2. Create a new ticket then enter the Discount Code and the Discount Code Amount %.

3. Enter the:

Ticket Type Title - this will be the name of the ticket as it appears on your registration page.

Ticket Price - this is the price of your ticket not including the Eventbrite fee.

Quantity Available - this indicates the quantity available of just this ticket type.

Start Sales Date/Time - indicate if you want the ticket type to begin sales on a certain date. Until then, the ticket type will appear as "Not Started" on the event registration page.
